World Environment Day 2019

Brahma Kumaris, Basavanagudi organized World Environment Day program to raise the global awareness about the environmental issues as well as take positive environmental actions, especially focus on the current environmental conditions to make environment better, convert the objectives into actions accordingly in the form of beautifying the surrounding areas through plantation and cleanliness, saving water, less of use of electricity, using organic and local foods, save wildlife etc.

The program was inaugurated by Rajyogi BK Mruthyunjaya Bhaiji Executive Secretary, Brahma Kumaris World Headquarters Mount Abu, Rajyogini BK Ambika Behenji, chief, Brahma Kumaris, VV puram, Mr. Ravi Subramanya, MLA and Mr.Timme Gowda. Mr.Ravi Subramanya, MLA shared the reasons of environment pollution. Children performed dances and dramas explaining the significance of environment. Rajyogi BK Mruthyunjaya Bhaiji discussed on ‘Clean the mind – Green the Earth’, which includes the importance of cleaner society, our role and the importance of having a cleaner mind and intellect in building a cleaner & greener nation. Rajyogini BK Ambika Behenji shared positive environmental actions. 300 members involved in the event and took oath to save our mother earth for a better future. On this eve, Peach March was conducted, proceeding signal flag was waved by  PGR Sindhia, Fmr Cabinet Minister, Govt of Karnataka, State Chief Commissioner: Bharat Scouts & Guides, Civil Engineer. children performed street dramas to create global awareness.

Special Seminar was given by Chief Guest Suresh Heblikar, Kannada Film Actor, Director and Environmentalist to work for environmental issues and become active agents of the sustainable and eco-friendly development. To work together for taking some positive actions to maintain the beauty of the planet.

National Conference on “It’s Time for Miracles in the Midst of Chaos & Challenges” was held on 29th June 2025, 10:30 AM at Brahma Kumaris, Vishwa Shanti Raj Yog Bhavan , Academy of Divine Wisdom, Gottigere, Bangalore

The conference was chaired by Rajyogini BK Dr Mohit Gupta, Professor of Cardiology, GB Pant Hospital, Delhi.

Giving the keynote speech, BK Dr Mohit Gupta shared the way to unravel the magical powers within to create miracles in the Midst of Chaos & Challenges.

All  Guests spoke on the theme –”It’s Time for Miracles in the Midst of Chaos & Challenges”, and shared their individual thoughts on the theme.

This was followed by guided Meditation by Rajyogini BK Ambika Didi,Chairperson SpARC Wing , Director, Brahma Kumaris, Bengaluru, the august gathering  experienced a few minutes of  bliss through meditation.

More than 2000 members, from different professions  attended the conference making it a grand success.

To bring motivation and rejuvenation amongst Divyang Children, Brahma Kumaris designed a special project “Divyang Seva”-

Divyang Seva Campaign was inaugurated on World Braille Day 4th Jan 2023 at  Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, HSR Layout, Bangalore. Covered all the schools of VV Puram Subzone, Karnataka in January Month

If we are to survive and thrive in this complicated chaotic world, spirituality and value education along with skill development have to be an important and integral part of our practice.

With this aim we organized different activities for Divyang Children which includes value education training, Meditation… which helped in creating a good Motivation among the children, empowered them and also created Zeal & Enthusiasm in their life.

Helped to come out from negativities like anger, inferiority… and also taught the unique art of leading a happy and peaceful life.
